There are two methods of wiring panels together, series and parallel. A series connection adds the voltage of the panels together and leaves current output the same, IE connecting two 12v 80w solar panels in series would provide the same 80w rating but at 24v instead of 12v. In contrast a parallel connection adds the current output together while retaining the same voltage. In this case the two 12v 80w panels will produce 160w at 12v.
For panels equipped with MC4 style connectors, such as REDARC Fixed Panels, can be connected in series by daisy chaining the panels together using the existing connectors. Connecting Anderson™ equipped panels together requires a separate cable to connect the panels together. Both styles of connectors require dedicated cables for connecting in parallel.

- SRC0006 - Y adapter cable suitable for connecting two MC4 equipped panels in parallel.
- SRC0011 - Y adapter cable suitable connecting two Anderson™ equipped panels together in series.
- SRC0012 - Y adapter cable suitable for connecting two Anderson™ equipped panels together in parallel.
