Monitoring the health and status of your vehicles electrical system is more important then ever. End the guesswork with one of these REDARC voltage gauges and gain the peace of mind that comes with knowing at a glance how things are going.
If there is an alternator or system failure, the voltage reading will be low and drop as the battery discharges. In the case of an overcharge condition, the gauge will climb above its normal zone. There are pre-set alert levels (<9V and >16V) to notify you of these changes by altering the gauge backlight to either amber or red. The gauge will also notify you with a beep when the vehicle ignition is on.
These gauges come equipped with an optional 100A-rated current display. This monitors the amount of current to or from your main or auxiliary battery. To equip the gauge with this functionality, purchase the REDARC Hall Effect Current Sensor (GS-AMPS). Connect the gauge to a vehicle with a 24 volt ignition via a REDARC 24 to 12 Volt Adaptor (GA-2412V) but know only a 12 volt battery can be monitored.
There are multiple alert levels that will notify you as your battery voltage drops below 9V or climbs above 16V. The display illuminates with park lights turned on so you can check battery health without turning on the ignition.
REDARC gauges feature a satin chrome bezel and 13 different programmable backlight color options. To enhance the lighting of these gauges REDARC recommends purchasing the Enhanced Lighting Controller (GA-ELC). The GA-ELC can be used when you don’t have a dimming circuit to connect your gauge to or the dimming circuit in your vehicle does not dim the REDARC gauge to your preference.
REDARC gauges are available in the following options:
