Tandem Off-road 2G Sequoia Rear Bumper Overview
We believe the 2G Sequoia is arguably the best overlanding vehicle that Toyota makes. It has an incredibly strong and reliable drive train that it shares with the Land Cruiser and the Tundra but it has more interior space than either of those. Out of the box it has excellent towing capabilities as well. And lastly, it has excellent off-road capabilities.
Because of that we have focused an extensive amount of effort into designing a bumper that helps expand the capabilities of the Sequoia as well as adding significant amounts of protection. This was not easy given that the Sequoia has a very unique frame which has the tow hitch receiver built into the frame. They are an intricate and organic shape which made designing a mounting solution challenging, however, we figured out an elegant and robust way to mount the bumper.
In addition to the elegant design we also used the highest quality hardware in every single component of the bumper. Heavy duty spindles are used on the swingouts to support the weight of a 37in wheel and tire. Extensive use of stainless steel hardware.
